Fall 2008 iTransplant National User Group Meeting

SANTA MONICA -- Transplant Connect announces the Fall 2008 iTransplant OPO National User Group Meeting - to be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 in Ann Arbor Michigan.

At this meeting, John Piano, Transplant Connect's Chief Executive Officer, will address technology leaders and managers from close to half of all the organ procurement organizations in the United States - the same nationwide group that has collaborated to define "Best Practices" for electronic charting in the transplant field.

Among the meeting's various discussion topics, Mr. Piano will present an overview of the Fall/Winter 2008 update to the iTransplant System nationwide.

In previewing the new iTransplant System update, Mr. Piano states "we are very pleased that iTransplant's upcoming release will mark yet another first for the transplant field, as we will be unveiling unprecedented new easy-to-use system features that parallel those of leading Web innovators such as Google."

Mr. Piano further explains "as the global leader in mission-critical organ, tissue and eye software, Transplant Connect has an obligation to continue to advance the state of software and communications technology in this mission-critical field.  Our many advances will accelerate as we enter 2009, all with the bottom-line goal of empowering our clients with the most powerful tools available so they can save and improve more lives through the miracle of transplantation."
